Our facility provides the space to make arrangements, visitation and services as comfortable as possible. We also offer ample parking, and are handicap accessible.

Our Staff

Mike L. Wilson - Office Manager

Mike has been with Walker-Brown Funeral Home since 2006, becoming the Office Manager in July of 2008. He is a retired school teacher who spent 29 years in the teaching profession with 23 of those years at Bartlesville Mid-High School. Mike was born and raised in Chelsea, OK graduating in 1975 and continued his education at Claremore Junior College (Rogers State University) before graduating in 1979 from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah with a BS Degree in Education. Being in the Bartlesville community for over 30 years, he feels it a privilege to work with your family in your time of need.

Melvin Nichols - Funeral Associate

Melvin is from Pittsburg, KS graduating from Pittsburg State University with a BSBA degree (accounting). He worked in various functions of the Treasury Department of Phillips Petroleum for 26 years. Melvin has been the Funeral Associate at Walker-Brown Funeral Home since 2004. During most of this time he also was owner of Living Word Christian bookstore in the mall in Bartlesville. Melvin was preceded in death by his wife, Connie, in late 2007. He has two daughters, two sons and six grandchildren. His desire is to assist those who have lost their loved ones as they begin the process of grieving.

Steven A. Walker - Funeral Director

Steve graduated from the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service in 1992 with a degree in Mortuary Science. He then moved to Oklahoma and worked for a funeral home in Eufaula and then for a funeral home in Tulsa. Steve opened Walker-Brown Funeral Home in Bartlesville April of 1999. He is the past President of the Bartlesville Optimist Club, member of the Bartlesville Elks Lodge and former trustee and a member of the Bartlesville Chamber of Commerce. Steve is licensed as a Funeral Director and Embalmer. He is also a licensed life insurance agent. Steve has two daughter's; Sydney and Sophie. His focus is to offer a high level of service at a lower cost.
